Let me be perfectly clear. There are millions of people who wish to distort, deny, disallow, disavow, disfigure, deform, damage, or disown the existence or the essence of the Bible. That is because the Bible gets in the way of what people think they want, but not what they need.
The devil wants to deny or distort the Bible. The liberal wants to reduce and reject the Bible. The politician wants to twist and turn the Bible. The word of God has been challenged from the beginning by the serpent, and Adam and Eve believed his purposeful misinterpretation. It has been the same ever since. The battle for the Bible today denies its authenticity, accuracy, and authority.
Let me be perfectly clear. The word of God, the Bible, is inspired, infallible, and inerrant (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21).
Jesus made it perfectly clear: Thy word is truth. (John 17:17)
If He is true, then the Bible is true.
